First draft of panels

Hello all- thanks for your submissions. The extended deadline has now passed so I won’t be able to accept any more abstracts. I’ve put together a preliminary draft of the panels (access it under the Programme tab).

All those who submitted abstracts should have received email by now to notify you. Thanks for all the fantastic abstracts submitted. I hope that all those who were unsuccessful with their abstracts will still attend the conference and help to enrich the debates.

Abstract deadline extended (until 10 May)

Hello all,

I’ve received some emails about extending the abstract deadline. I’m happy to accept abstracts until the end of next week (10 May) although after that I will have to finalise the program. If you are considering sending something in, please do as soon as possible (the sooner they are received, the more likely they are to be accepted).

Thanks!

Deadline for abstracts today

Hello all! Today is the submission deadline for abstracts- please try to get them emailed to me by this evening (sac525@york.ac.uk)

Thanks to all who’ve submitted so far- they look fantastic! The deadline may be extended slightly for latecomers to submit, but I hope to have responded to all the submissions by the end of the month.

Thanks to the York Annual Fund who have awarded the conference additional funding. Once abstracts are submitted and the program is finalised, I will be able to release precise details about fees and bursaries. Fees for postgrads will be somewhere in the £10-15 range and a few £50 bursaries will be available for presenters travelling within the UK. Thanks very much to the many non-UK or EU presenters who’ve submitted. Unfortunately the conference won’t be able to cover travel costs from these locations, so please try to secure external funding for your travels.

Please check back here in the coming weeks for more details or follow @GenderConfYork
